Schooled at St Josephs College, Hunters Hill, he won the 1986 Art Prize and was accepted into the Art Express exhibition. After studying Graphic Arts, he began his career as a freelance commercial artist. Painting was his real passion and so he converted to it as his sole source of income in 2000.
