Frequently Asked Questions

1. What if I pledge money for an item that doesn’t reach it’s estimated value?

The funds pledged towards that item will be assessed and redistributed.

2. What if the total amount for a wishlist item is not pledged prior to August 30th?

We will extend the close-off for pledges to September 12 2008. However, given many items are actually for multiple units (e.g. library books, digital cameras) we will purchase as many items as we can with the pledged funds.

3. What happens once a pledge reached its estimated value?

Consider that pledge finalised. No more pledges can be made on that item.

4. I want to bid on some items in the Grand Auction, but cannot attend the Beijing Olympic Celebration on Saturday 30th August.

Simply make your best bid under the Auctions icon. Bidding on the night will commence from the highest bid made by 5pm Friday 29th August 2008. You never know – if your bid is a good one, you may just be successful

5. Who created the Wishlist?

The Wishlist items were prepared by our school principal, Mr Vince Campbell in consultation with the teaching staff and the P&F.

6. How do pay for my pledge?

You should have received an e-mail asking you to confirm your pledge.  Once you have clicked to confirm, please print the e-mail, download a form and enclose your cheque made payable to Sacred Heart P&F Association and send them both to the school office in an envelope marked 'Wishlist'.

7. How will Sacred Heart spend the funds raised?

All monies raised via the pledging on the wishlist will go directly to purchasing those specific items. All other monies raised will firstly go towards paying off the remaining $22,500 loan to the School Building Fund (if it has not already been fully pledged on the Wishlist). After this has been paid, and all Wishlist items have been purchased, remaining funds will go towards the P&F’s next major project – the Upgrade of the School Playground.
